Interactive prototype · To validate
ReadPact
A 21-day reading pact that turns the intention to finish a book into a shared commitment with deposits, peer confirmation and visible feedback.
The full journey works from discovery to settlement; real completion behavior remains unvalidated
This Chinese-language prototype uses simulated data. Deposits, wallets and on-chain records do not create real transactions.
Problem
The intention to finish a book often fades before or midway through reading. Most reading goals lack shared commitment, visible progress and a clear outcome for both completion and drop-off.
Hypothesis
A visible 21-day pact shared with other readers—combining a deposit, check-ins, peer confirmation and settlement—may strengthen the motivation to finish.
What I did
- 01
Mapped an end-to-end product journey from book discovery to challenge settlement
- 02
Designed creation and joining, daily check-ins, reading comprehension, reflection and peer confirmation
- 03
Built a directly usable high-fidelity prototype and exercised its states with simulated data
Evidence
Decision
The prototype proves that the product logic can become a coherent experience, not that deposits improve completion. The next step is a small real-reader test of willingness and behavior.
